Job responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamicActivities Co-ordinatorwith a passion for delivering excellent care.

Youll be working 40 hours per week across the 7 day period, including weekends / the occasional Bank Holiday, as rostered.

Cygnet Alders Clinicis a 20 bed rehabilitation service providing assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for women with personality disorder and complex trauma needs.

Your day-to-day
  • Develop, plan, implement & oversee activities, outings & events for the people in our care
  • Prepare an activity timetable across the 7 day period.
  • Organise and run activity groups for the people in our care
  • Provide fun & constructive leisure time, as well as appropriate physical & emotional support
  • Ensure the provision of staff, space & materials for all activities
  • Encourage and motivate colleaguesto support the activity programme
  • Oversee the creation of promotional materials for events

  • Knowledgeable of suitable activities & pastimes to support mental health service users

  • Experienced in planning, resourcing & carrying out events & activities

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
