Main duties of the job
You will provide day-to-day clinical care, across a variety of sites, in a supported environment and within a dynamic team.Providing day-to-day professional leadership, you will ensure the needs of patients are placed at the centre of care delivery while providing assurance that standards of clinical care and clinical pathways are within a designated area is of the highest standard attainable.
You will need to demonstrate empathy and compassionate leadership skills alongside excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to teach and inspire colleagues through active demonstration of clinical practice and leadership. At the same time be willing to learn and develop within this Band 6 role.

- In-depth knowledge in the management of the diabetic foot and high risk feet.
- Knowledge and understanding of the NICE Diabetes clinical guidelines and NSF in Diabetes.

- Organisational and planning skills to manage your own work time.
- Ability to deal professionally and objectively with distressing/uncomfortable situations, e.g. terminally ill patients, child abuse, providing guidance to team members where appropriate.
