o Support digital services throughout their lifecycle, supporting the project implementation, transition to service and ongoing maintenance & management.o Responsible for ensuring digital services are performing within operational parameters.o Involved in the collation of data and further coordination with System Administration staff to facilitate the correct set up of users on the relevant digitalserviceso Facilitate, train, coach and support end users of digital services, providing support on best practice throughout the project implementation and ensuringefficient ongoing utilisation of the system(s).o Assist in the development of teaching packages and a support infrastructure for a range of staff using the digital system(s).o Responsible for supporting the implementation of digital systems across ABUHB ensuring that they meet the needs and relevant standards of theorganisation.o Resolve issues directly relating to digital serviceso Resolve day to day system issues.o Identify and troubleshoot bugs & errors and provide a route cause analysis.

Main duties of the job

Work as part of a project team to plan and prepare for the implementation / upgrade of digital systems.

Responsible for ensuring digital services are performing within operational parameters.

Facilitate, train, coach and support end users of digital services, providing support on best practice throughout the project implementation and ensuring efficient ongoing utilisation of the system(s).

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Skills and Attributes

Essential

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Good presentation skills with the ability to adapt information suitable to a range of audiences.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, looks for opportunities to improve services, staff and self.


Desirable

  • Ability to speak Welsh.


Other

Essential

  • Ability to travel between sites in a timely manner.
  • Able to attend meetings within ABUHB and outside ABUHB catchment area.


Qualifications and Knowledge

Essential

  • Educated to Degree Level or equivalent experience Teaching/training and evidence of recent study/personal development.
  • Expert and in-depth knowledge of one or more clinical IT systems in use within the health board.
  • IT software workings, Microsoft office.
  • Good understanding of change management in terms of process and culture.
  • Service Management qualification i.e ITIL Foundation


Desirable

  • IT qualification i.e Registered IT Technicial (RITTech) or FEDIP Practitioner
  • Project Management qualification i.e PRINCE2, Scrum or Agile


Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience of delivering objectives.
  • Experience of understanding user requirements and implement Change management.
  • Experience of delivering outcomes within tight timescales.


Desirable

  • Experience of using computerised clinical and administrative information systems.
  • Experience of working in an NHS environment.
  • Experience of working in a clinical or ICT environment
