About us
Covid-19 Vaccination Requirement
BCHC is committed to ensuring the safety of all our staff and patients. In order to prevent the spread of Covid-19, the Department of Health and Social Care has formally announced that a CQC registered person can only employ or otherwise engage individualsin regulated activities in England who have face to face contact with patients or service users if they are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 on 1 April 2022. BCHC is obliged to comply with this statutory obligation. The government policy takes into account specific exemptions to the requirement to be vaccinated and we recommend that you visit www.gov.uk for further information on this matter. Where you are applying for roles where some or all of your potential duties fall within the scope of the health and social care mandatory vaccination regulations, you should be aware that it will be a condition of your employment with BCHC that you have received the 1st and 2nd dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and have provided evidence of this (unless an exemption applies) by the relevant dates, being 3 February 2022 for the 1st dose and 31 March 2022 for the 2nd dose.
