Qualifications needed:
Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
CCT or equivalent
Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it
Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST

We are currently recruiting to an Adult Community Consultant Psychiatry position in the Redbridge Adult ADHD Assessment and Treatment Service, based at Mellmead House, 4 Orchard Close, Rodney Road, Wanstead E11 2DH.
This is a new, fixed-term contract for 12 months, part-time post. This post is currently vacant, and we wish to recruit to it as soon as possible.
You will join 1wte Specialty Doctor within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.

Job responsibilities
You will be expected to:
Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to adult people with mental health needs, across Redbridge.
Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
Work directly with adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external adult mental health providers and acute hospitals
Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative
Work alongside 1wte Specialty Doctor within the service, and provide them with the needed supervision
Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.
