Cardiology Ward / ACCU is a 41 bedded unit made up of 6 ACCU bed, 6 HDU beds, 13 side rooms and 3 bays. We care for all aspects of cardiac medicine including Intervention, Electrophysiology, Structural and Adult Congenital.

Person Specification

Quals

Essential

• Registered Nurse (Part 1. 8. 12 or 15 of register depending on area of practice) or National certification in area of Practice.
• Previous Cardiac experience.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development

Desirable

• Previous band 6 experience.
• Proof of education at level 7

Clinical Practice

Essential

• Articulate & Knowledgeable of skills needed to deliver high standard of care
• Demonstrates awareness of importance of teamwork

Leadership & Management

Essential

• Excellent communication skills
• Acts as a role model and able to lead by example
• Able to uperwise Non registered and less experienced staff

Desirable

• Experience coordinating ward
