An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, hardworking, and enthusiastic Registered Childrens Nurse to join the leadership team with in the Family Health Division as the interim lead pediatric nurse within the Paediatric Urgent and Emergency Care Centre. We will ensure that you will be supported into the lead nurse management role through a wide range opportunities.

We are seeking a dynamic individual who can flourish working within a fast paced and demanding environment. You will need sound clinical knowledge, excellent communication and leadership skills and the ability to work well in the multidisciplinary team.Working in conjunction with the wider hospital team to deliver a high standard of care to all our patients. Motivating and role modelling high standards, implementing and driving improvements and initiatives.

  • Demonstrate experience in a senior post

  • Experience of working with acutely ill patients
  • Experience of working independently
  • Experience in education of staff


Qualifications

Essential

  • First level Registered Childrens Nurse with the NMC
  • Teaching / Mentorship Qualification
  • Evidence of on-going professional development
  • Evidence of experience at Band 6 Sister / Charge Nurse Level
  • EPLAS/or equivalent


Desirable

  • First Level Degree
  • Post graduate interest / exposure in relation to Urgent Care
