We are looking for a talented individuals to join our dynamic Digital and Information Services (DIS) team, in the role of Business Analyst, on a fixed term or secondment for a period of 18 months. This pivotal role offers a motivated and highly driven individual the opportunity to play a key part in the Trust's journey towards implementing a new, full integrated Electronic Patient Record (EPR). The EPR is about bringing all patient information together, enabling us to hold a single Trust-wide hospital record for each patient, helping us work together to improve our services

Reporting to the Chief Digital Nursing Officer, you work within the programme team and across the wider digital clinical and operational teams. You will collaborate in the design and standardisation of pathways and processes across the Trust and will work closely with Workstream Leads, other Analysts and with the Change & Benefits Leads to identify and analyse benefits

Main duties of the job

Whilst the role offers flexibility with on-site and home working, there is a requirement to attend site regularly to work closely with users and comply with the Trusts Home Working Policy.

The post holder must be able to work on site in either York, Scarborough, Bridlington or surrounding locations. They may be required to work evenings/weekends in peak delivery times.

Person Specification

Qualifications and Training

Essential

  • Masters level qualification in health care leadership or equivalent qualifications or knowledge


Experience and Knowledge

Essential

  • Experience of working in healthcare sector


Desirable

  • Mentoring
  • Experience of working on an EPR implementation project


Skills, Abilities and Attributes

Essential

  • Highly developed skills in team leadership, workshop facilitation, pathway redesign, co-ordination, process mapping, influencing strategies, change management and benefits analysis
  • A strong track record of using business analysis tools and methodologies that are appropriate to the place, with the skills to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Extensive analytical experience with breadth and depth of knowledge utilised on large transformation projects/programmes, ideally in Healthcare Acute hospital settings
  • Knowledge and understanding of the benefits that an EPR implementation brings, of digital related change, and of how to leverage change to achieve benefits would also be ideal
