An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Band 6 Sister secondments within Dolphin ward.
This is open to all paediatric nurses who are ready for the next step and would like the opportunity/experience at junior sister.
Main duties of the job
To lead the team in assessing patient's needs, developing and implementing care plans and evaluating effectiveness on an ongoing basis.
To work in close liaison with other members of the multi-disciplinary team, including leading multi-disciplinary team meetings and ward rounds.
Share knowledge and expertise with other staff including supervision of new junior and support staff. Ensure that professional standards are maintained in accordance with the NMC code of professional conduct.
To work closely with parents, carers and relatives to ensure individualised patient centred care is provided.
