- This is a clinical professional development role and will involve developing, leading and delivering expert clinical knowledge within the CAMHS services . You will need a sound understanding of the needs of the young person and their families and carer's.
A commitment to work within established teams, who provide assessment and treatment in a modern purpose built unit. You will have a cheerful disposition, be helpful, co-operative, and able to meet the high standards of the Trust.
Main duties of the job
Skills/ResponsibilitiesClinical:
- Participate fully in handovers and patient reviews with expert clinical knowledge
- Will initiate and participate in audit, research or the planning and contribution towards clinical change in procedures
- Provide support to nursing staff
- Undertake continuous professional development, appropriate to the post and services to patients.
- Work Collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure services are meeting healthcare needs.
- Review of procedures and interventions being delivered within the service, in line with Trust policy and procedures.
- Assist in the efficient and effective use of resources in designated specialist areas of service.
- Participate in assessing, implementing, and adapting to new clinical techniques and technologies to support service delivery
- Contribute to the planning and organization of information resources, ensuring effective evidence based care is practiced
- Provide and maintain statistical information as required for statistical and other management purposes and to contribute to audits.
