As Industry Manager in the Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN), you will work as part of a national Research Delivery Network (RDN) team to develop and manage relationships with Life Sciences companies, Pharmaceutical companies (Pharma), Clinical Research Organisations (CROs), Medical Technology companies (Med Tech), Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and the NIHR wider stakeholders within the clinical research environment, including non-commercial funders and other parts of the research ecosystem to attract and grow clinical research delivery in the UK.

You will work closely with the RRDN Life Science Key Account Manager and RDN Industry facing teams across the regional geography to ensure equality and consistency of service for all customers, nationally and regionally.

As part of the Research Delivery Network (RDN) team the Industry Manager will explore and meet the research delivery needs of the life sciences industry including pharmaceutical biotechnology diagnostic medical technology data/digital, and Contract Research Organisations (CROs). We are seeking a highly motivated Manager to support the Life Sciences Key Account Manager to work as part of the national and regional RDN. You will need experience in working with industry with the ability to develop and maintaining productive, high quality relationships with a number of Life Sciences companies and with organisations across the region that support industry research. You will be working across multiple specialities, with a range of health and care professionals across the health and care system. We are looking for someone with the ability to understand commercial trial delivery challenges and to support the development of capacity and capability for growth. There will be opportunities to work regionally and nationally as part of a single RDN delivering standardised services. You will need a passion for improvement and be an Ambassador for the RRDN to support a critical business function. This is an opportunity to be part of an ambitious collaborative health and care region and RRDN to support growth in our industry portfolio.

The role can be contractual based in one of the following bases - Truro, Plymouth, Exeter or Taunton, with frequent regional ravel to organisations and to regional offices and some national travel .

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week
