About Ward F10:
Step into Ward F10, a thriving hub of respiratory and general medical nursing featuring 24 beds, where we specialize in cutting-edge treatments like CPAP, NIV, and Nasal High Flow. You'll be diving into a variety of cases, providing excellent care for patients with COPD, ILD, Cancer, Asthma, pleural effusion, pneumothorax, and palliative care.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a reliable team player who thrives in high-pressure environments and can also shine when working independently.
As a vital member of our team, you will not only show care and respect for our patients and their families but also extend that compassion to your colleagues. Your commitment to high-quality patient care and interest in respiratory nursing will be crucial in this role.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team are essential. We need someone with a flexible approach, ready to adapt to the fast-paced demands of an acute clinical environment.
You'll receive a supernumerary period designed to equip you with the skills to care for acutely ill patients. We offer both full-time and part-time positions, with flexible working patterns to accommodate service needs, including weekends, bank holidays, and nights. If you're a newly qualified nurse, we've got you covered! We'll pay your first-year NMC registration fee and offer you a Band 4 salary until you receive your PIN.

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as an Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC PIN within the next 3 months. Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses and Midwives who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receivea full NMC PIN to practice in the UK as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely.
