We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join the A rated Stroke Team at Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells Trust. An exciting opportunity has come up within the stroke team to get involved in the leadership of the developing community outreach services including the 'Early Supported Discharge' team. This unique service works closely with an in-house team of stroke specific carers, physios and SLTs to provide intensive rehabilitation to patients within their own home in the West Kent area.
We would welcome an innovative and passionate neuro occupational therapist with a keen eye for quality improvement and evidence-based care.You will need to have a flexible approach, be resourceful and enthusiastic in demonstrating the impact and added value that Occupational Therapy brings to thepathway. Excellent time management, resilience and prioritisation skills are essential for delivery of an efficient and effective service.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for experienced, dynamic, innovative and forward thinking Occupational Therapists to be involved in this exciting opportunity.
The successful candidates will be a highly skilled clinician with expert clinical knowledge, skills and experience supervising and educating others.
You will need to have a flexible approach, be resourceful and enthusiastic in demonstrating the impact and added value that Occupational Therapy brings to the acute stroke pathway. Excellent time management, resilience and prioritisation skills are essential for delivery of an efficient and effective service.
