- RSCN/RN Child Branch, with evidence of regular professional updating
- Mentorship, ENB998 or equivalent
- Educated or working towards degree level
- APLS/EPLS training

- Ability to work at an advanced practice level and confident and competent to make appropriate decisions
- Competent in the administration of IV drugs.
- Ability to be responsive/reactive and flexible.
- Leadership and mentorship skills

- Up to date knowledge of paediatric nursing and professional developments.
