If so come and visit us in Doncaster where vacancies have arisen for enthusiastic CT radiographers to work across all hospital sites. If you have excellent communications skills , this is an exciting opportunity to join our fabulous team.

The successful candidates will be enthusiastic about the challenges of a busy working and constantly changing environment, and must have the ability to remain calm under pressure .

Rotating to the new state of the art Community Diagnostic Service based at Montagu Hospital, you will demonstrate excellence in patient care. This is a demanding role which will involve dealing with patients who are very ill or distressed, therefore good interpersonal skills are essential. You will be expected to work flexibly, participating in an extended 7-day service and will be required to travel to all sites as required.

Working hours will be in line with the needs of the service, may be subject to change in the future, and will include nights, evenings, weekends and bank holidays therefore a flexible approach is essential.

Main duties of the job

To work at an advanced level of practice in CT, performing a comprehensive range of CT procedures .

To prioritise patients and organise workload from a variety of referral pathways and to contribute towards the efficient deployment of resources to ensure patients receive a safe , timely and accurate examination.

To maintain and enhance clinical expertise, by ensuring high technical and professional standards at all times.

Provide expert opinion and advice, and contribute to the management of the service as required, in order to help find solutions to rapidly changing demands on the service.

To contribute to training opportunities.

Create an environment where the patient is central to all decision making with high quality compassionate care the prime objective, noting a positive experience with dignity and respect.

  • DCR or BSc Diagnostic Radiography
  • Health and Care Professions Council Registration
  • Documented evidence of CPD
  • ENIC statement of comparability


Desirable

  • Post Graduate Certificate (Masters Level) in CT Imaging
  • Certificate of competence in IV injections


Experience

Essential

  • Experience of working in an imaging department
  • Experience of 'out of hours' / on-call working
  • Experience across a range of imaging modalities


Desirable

  • 1 year's post qualification experience
