We are recruiting Band 5 nurses across our surgical wards at York Hospital and welcome applications from experienced and newly qualified nurses, who have an interest in developing their knowledge and skills within the surgical setting.

We currently have vacancies on various wards within the Surgical Directorate at York Hospital, including Upper GI, Urology and Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Acute Admissions, Vascular, Head and Neck. Pre-Assessment and Day Unit.

There will be opportunity to discuss your preferred areas at interview.

You will work alongside our dedicated multi-disciplinary teams and we will value you and your contribution to delivering excellent patient care. Our Clinical Educator team in Surgery can offer a comprehensive induction and preceptorship programme which is tailored to your needs, and that supports your individual requirements.
