- Provide Comprehensive Care: Deliver care over a 24-hour period in the woman's chosen place of birth, covering all aspects of antenatal and postnatal care.
- Evidence-Based Practice: Apply your knowledge and skills to offer evidence-based midwifery care, meeting the diverse needs of women and their families.
- Quality Standards: Assist the senior midwife in monitoring and enhancing quality standards that impact care provision.
- Leadership Support: Step up to support the senior midwife and take on delegated responsibilities in their absence.
