Due to developments within the CAMHS Eating Disorder Service we are recruiting for a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with a suitable core profession.
We welcome applications from professionals with experience of working with families, risk and mental health to offer a service within the CAMHS Eating Disorder Team and are able to support learning around Eating Disorders from the wider team.
The team works across the City and South Derbyshire within clinic, home and paediatric settings to deliver evidence-based care and therapeutic interventions to young people experiencing a primary eating disorder and supporting family members/carers.
Working with a defined caseload, the post holder will require a high level of communication and interpersonal skills to build engagement with young people and families with the ability to provide all aspects of case management.

The CAMHS eating disorder team is a supportivemultidisciplinary team with an emphasis on team working within a cohesive, friendly and environment.
The role is varied and interesting offering opportunity to develop individual and group work skills and knowledge to meet the needs of our service users.
Regular operational, clinical and professional supervision is available individually and within groups and we facilitate monthly CPD sessions within the team and with wider CAMHS.
Input on the screening of referrals, assessments, care planning and review, physical health monitoring and contributing to a range of individual and family interventions are all core components of the C B Psychotherapist's work within the team.

Main duties of the job
- To provide a specialist Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) service by utilising theoretical knowledge and skills to clients within Derbyshire CAMHS Eating Disorders Service to provide detailed assessment and treatment.
- To offer advice and supervision from a CBT framework to other health care professions
- To practice within professional and British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP) guidelines and DHCFT's and CAMHS Eating Disorders teams, policies and procedures.
