We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 nurse to join our established team within Antenatal Clinic across both City and QMC campus to promote and deliver the National Vaccination programme for Seasonal Flu, Pertussis, RSV with Covid for the future.
The successful candidate will take an active role in promoting the uptake of pertussis, RSV, Covid and flu vaccinations in pregnancy and to undertake work to overcome barriers to vaccination.
You will work with the midwifery team to build vaccine confidence within the pregnant women attending the antenatal clinics.
The role will also include health promotion and providing language appropriate vaccine resource's and also address health inequalities.
This post includes weekend work to cover our Saturday clinic.

Essential
- Registered Nurse with the NMC
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Evidence of continuing professional
- Completion of Season flu training
- Completion of Covid 19 training
- Competent in immunisation training
- Training and knowledge of RSV vaccine

- BSc qualification
- Experience in teaching
Expereince

- Experience at Band 5 or equivalent
- Competent in complex clinical skills
