An exciting opportunity is here fore the SET CAMHS Eating Disorder Service.

We are looking for a a senior clinician to support the development and implementation of our new Intensive Support Pathway within the the SET CAMHS Eating Disorder Service to support prevention of TIER 4 admission for CYP.

The post holder will work alongside an 8A senior therapist, 8B Clinical lead and Team Manager to help support the delivery of care for young people with Eating Disorders to prevent TIER 4 admissions whilst offering psychological support and share clinical oversight across the service. The post holder will be responsible for assessment, treatment and outcome measurement and provide clinical supervision to staff as well as supporting clinical development within the Intensive Support Pathway.

The post holder would require to hold accreditation or NMC registration.

This post would suit clinicians with an extensive experience in Eating Disorders & working with young people who present with complexity and significant levels of distress, working with the wider systems including education, social care and family/carers.

As a senior clinician within the service, you will bring highly developed knowledge of specialist therapeutic assessment, formulation and intervention skills and specific knowledge and expertise in psychological interventions for young people with Eating Disorders.

We are currently meeting all waiting time standards and offer an excellent package of care.

Main duties of the job

To support the operational manager to lead on the Intensive Support Pathway offering line supervision and support the development of our new day programme within the service.

You would also have a keen interest in developing innovative strategies to support young people and their families and support the ongoing development of the service to support young people to stay at home during their recovery.

To undertake a range of highly specialist clinical work and leading on group interventions

To offer senior care reviews and reformulation of cases

To work alongside external agencies to support the ongoing care provisions of young people

About us

Starting with NELFTNELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
