Following some recent successful recruitment into the QEQM Therapy team, we have a rare opportunity to further develop the senior leadership within the critical care and surgical team.
This clinical specialist position offers the exciting prospect of leading the development of this service collaboratively with a well-established multidisciplinary team. This will include inpatient work in critical care, general and gynae-oncology surgery, with opportunities to contribute to EKHUFT's award winning critical care follow up and rehabilitation service.
Main duties of the job
This post holder will lead, develop and evaluate critical care and surgical Physiotherapy services at QEQM hospital.
They will provide therapeutic clinical expertise, high quality advice and support to the multi-disciplinary team. Clinical supervision, appraisal and teaching will be key components of this role.
They will demonstrate excellent communication and collaborative working, along with other clinical specialists across the Health Economy, in order to provide a high quality, efficient service.
In conjunction with the Clinical and Site Lead they will ensure clinical governance targets are met, including the development of clinical standards and protocols, specialist evidence based practice, audit, research, clinical and non-clinical risk management.
