Therapeutic Radiographer Band 5
The Northamptonshire Centre for Oncology would like to hear from HCPC registered radiographers, or students due to qualify, who are ready to join our team of radiographer working in rotational posts across treatment and pre-treatment. Experience of working in a department achieving accreditation to ISO 9001:2015 is essential.
Our patients are fully supported through their Radiotherapy journey by our team of review radiographers and independent prescribers who work closely with the planning and treating teams.
Main duties of the job
The post will be structured to provide experience across pre-treatment, treatment delivery and our calculation room within the first 18 months to enable the post holder to achieve competency at band 5 in all aspects of their duties.
Our equipment comprises 3 Varian TrueBeam fully matched machines complete with Brainlab ExacTrac imaging and '6 degrees of freedom' robotic couches Siemens scanner Prosoma for virtual simulation and a Flexitron brachytherapy unit.
