To contribute the delivery of the highest quality clinical, education and training and research services through supporting and promoting the involvement of service users, their families and carers and the wider public in the design and delivery of our services. The post holder will be expected to work flexibly across the Trust's service delivery sites and to attend meetings in the communities we serve.
Main duties of the job
Have a solid understanding of patient involvement and engagement across health services and an ability to apply that knowledge to mental health services.
Have a strong working knowledge of Carenotes, Qualtrics and / or DrDoctor or similar platforms.
Lead on producing patient experience data and reporting in different forums.
Project manage service user quality improvement projects across the Trust.
Develop collaborative patient experience projects in conjunction with clinical services.
Lead on specific projects as required by commissioners / contracting for quality targets.
Develop, run and evaluate creative ways of obtaining feedback from service users from our Gender Identity Clinic and one additional service.
This will also include co-designing strategy for this service in collaboration with service users, service manager and taking responsibility for CQC related changes to PPI work.
Support the training and development of patient representatives to sit on interview panels and other improvement projects across the Trust.
