An exciting new opportunity has arisen in ABUHB to lead on our regional pan-Gwent approach to Early Years Transformation in Speech, Language and Communication. This permanent Band 7 full-time role will sit alongside the ABUHB Health Visiting leadership and local teams, and the existing well-established universal/targeted SLT workforce. The role will be operationally managed by the Health Visting lead with professional supervision being provided by the Paediatric SLT lead.
Main duties of the job
The main focus of the role will be to work at a public health/universal level to ensure best possible outcomes in SLC for the early years population across the region, reporting these into Welsh Government as required, and working in line with national policies and the Talk With Me delivery plan.
