EPUT is a key system partner for the West Essex Integrated Care Partnership (ICP). The partnership includes Princess Alexandra NHS Trust, 2 GP Provider companies and West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group.

West Essex is a diverse area stretching northwards from its boundary with Greater London into the heart of rural Essex. Transport links are excellent, with access to London Underground in the south and the M11 and M25 close to hand.

Band 5 MSK physiotherapist/ Structural osteopath with band 6 career developmental opportunities

There will be the opportunity to rotate if the successful candidate wishes to have a boarder experience such as community physiotherapy, Post Operative MSK physiotherapy at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow . In Addition opportunity to Shadow podiatry and patient appliances.

Will have have opportunity to attend In-service training and external training.

Main duties of the job

Band 5 Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist/Structural Osteopath

The opportunity has arisen within The EPUT NHS Trust Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Team for a Clinical Band 5/ Band 6 career progression opportunity.

You will be part of the Integrated MSK Service (IMSKS) which is supported by a high ratio of senior to junior clinical staff ensuring comprehensive supervision, training and development opportunities to expand knowledge, skills and scope of practice.

Band 5 MSK Physiotherapist working in Community Centre. Will assess and treat patients with musculoskeletal conditions. Will manage own caseload with support of band 6 and 7 MSK physiotherapists.

Person Specification Essentail/Desirable from Person Spec Essential
  • Graduate in Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
  • HCPC Membership
  • Wide range of clinical placements and experiences during training (including MSK placements)
  • Good understanding of a range of MSK conditions
  • Has Physiotherapy NHS experience
Desirable
  • Member of CSP/Special Interest Group
Essential and Desirable Criteria Essential
  • Good concise English evidenced on application form
