An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated finance professional to join the Finance department at North Bristol NHS Trust as part of a dedicated team to support the income function within the Trust, which has responsibility for c£800m of annual revenue.
We are looking for a dedicated and innovative self-starter to support the timely and accurate production of financial and activity information which requires understanding, interpretation and analysis. You will support the team to investigate and resolve queries from external and internal finance and commissioning staff and pursue corrective action in consultation with the team as well as managing the commissioner income inputs into the ledger.

- AAT Qualified Accountant or equivalent

- Part qualified or studying towards a professional accountancy qualification eg ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA

- Ability to use a full range of formulae to create spreadsheets and databases capable of recording, manipulating and analysing highly complex data and statistics
- Experience of working under pressure to very tight deadlines is important, whilst also ensuring attention to detail, accuracy and quality of output is maintained
- Ability to communicate complex and sensitive financial and reporting information to diverse audiences, both internally and externally
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills
