As Duty Coordinator, you will accept referrals into the service and make decisions on the suitability of those referrals. Establishing a pathway for referrers and patients, you will act as a point of contact for external professionals and service users when they are seeking help or advice.

The Duty Coordinator is not expected to carry a caseload of clients, and will instead support staff to work with IAPT-appropriate cases for which they have received suitable training.
