We are currently looking to recruit a Practice Development Nurse to cover Older Persons Mental Health Services (Inpatients and CMHT) in the Portsmouth and South East Division and who will be an integral member of the Leadership Team. The role will enable the continued development of our staff and services, where the post holder will work closely with students, preceptee's, and all the band 2-6 workforce on individual and/or team development. The post holder will lead by example, commit to team working and will have the necessary skills to successfully deliver training and support the teams. He/she will have excellent communication skills, be able to support and empower others, have a passion for working in Older Persons Mental Health and enjoy networking with other teams, voluntary sector organisations and partnership agencies.
The role will be fully supported by the Portsmouth and South East Practice Development Lead. The expected pattern of work will be Monday-Friday 9-5pm however you will also be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service when required.
