An opportunity has arisen for a self motivated and experienced nurse to join our band 7 team within the Emergency centre at the Princess Royal hospital Accident and Emergency department.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellent clinical care and a desire to improve patient standards continually. You will be expected to work closely with the Senior Nursing team on quality improvement projects to facilitate positive changes in how we work and to share your clinical expertise to develop the skills of the broader team through practice developement, education.
Main duties of the job
Your role will be both management and clinical. On a day-to-day basis, you will be relied upon to assume direct responsibility for the smooth running of the unit and providing a high-quality service to patients, co-ordinating care and prioritising the team's workload.
You will be involved in answering complaints, datix, pals concerns, working closely with the governance team, looking at staffing and working closely with the matron.
The successful applicant must have excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills and be approachable and supportive to work effectively as part of the team.
