Main duties of the job
Operational management and leadership of the Intensive Support Services - the all age IST pathway (autism), the IST for adults with learning disabilities and operational support to the Learning Disability Forensic Community Team.
These teams provide enhanced support across the Black Country community for children and adults with learning disabilities and/or autism to prevent and reduce specialist hospital admissions in conjunction with our community and inpatient colleagues.

Are you ready for an exciting challenge- to develop, connect and shape our new and evolving teams in line with the Transforming Care agenda for children and adults with learning disabilities and/or autism?
An excellent new development opportunity has been developed- a Service Manager to operationally lead the Intensive support pathways for children and adults with learning disabilities and/or autism within the LD and CYPF Division!
Open to registered Nursing, Clinical Psychology and Allied Health Professionals with operational and clinical experience, you will be contingent in driving forward our service improvements managing the new all age IST autism pathway team, the learning disability intensive and forensic support pathway teams. These teams work in conjunction with community children's, ALD and adult mental health services to support clients in the community at their most vulnerable times. All teams have a strong multi-disciplinary focus to prevent hospital admissions and you will join Clinical leads, the Commissioning team and senior leadership team to ensure our Transforming care priorities are met and excellent care, support and treatment is provided along with our external stakeholders.

- 3 or more years experience in LD, CYPF or mental health
- Experience of operational management in the NHS
- Experience of autism services-clinical or operational
- Relevant post graduate qualification-management and/or leadership
