Are you looking for a new & exciting role? We are looking for an Operating Support Officer to join our Nutrition and Dietetics Team at East Sussex Healthcare Trust.
To ensure that the Head of Service / Service Manager portfolio is managed in line with Trust and National Policies and that all documentation is maintained in line with information governance principles.
Ensuring effective patient flow and timely assessment and treatment for all patients referred to service. Monitor and evaluate waiting times and RTT's and support workforce development.
Preferably 6 months experience of working as part of a team managing projects within service to ensure service innovation and improvement.
Experience of delivering identifiable changes across speciality pathways , tracking improvements and identifying opportunities to further improve process and pathways . Experience specifically associated with Dietetics desirable but not essential.
Supporting data analysis for reports, capacity and demand, risks (health and safety, risk register entries), workforce data.
Experience in identifying and escalating appropriately areas of risk.
Demonstrable experience in supporting senior management team to deliver financially efficient services within budget.
You will be an excellent communicator, able to work independently and in a team, as well as being organised and confident.

Main duties of the job
To develop processes that gives optimum efficiency but maintain quality in care as directed by the Head of Service / Service Manager.
Compiling and supporting Head of Service / Service Manager and professional leads on service action and recovery plans as required.
Support professionals in clinical audit administration as required.
To compile and analyse service performance data to report to Head of Service / Service Manager and feed into general manager reviews. To monitor adherence to service key performance indicators and work with to Head of Service / Service Manager report to both internal and external stakeholders. Representing Head of Service / Service Manager at appropriate meetings as required.
Close working with team leads for clinical specialties within the Dietetic services to ensure productivity of clinics and management of patient flow.
