Our Crisis Resolution Home Treatment (CRHT) Team across Norfolk & Waveney are seeking dedicated Senior Registered Mental Health Practitioner to join their existing team.

Ideally you'll have experience and skills in working within the community. Our dedicated team is compassionate and responsive. There are processes to review our work, to develop areas of good practice, therapeutic skills and support learning and development of staff.

Nursing has never been more in the public eye and now more than ever our profession needs to adapt and change to meet the changing needs of our patients and the evolving health and social care integrated systems.

Main duties of the job

Within CRHT, we recognise that nursing staff make up one of the largest proportion of our workforce and we value the expertise and professionalism that you will bring.

As a registered practitioner within CRHT you will:

Managing and assessing risk is a large part of our role and as a team we robustly make decisions in complete collaboration with all systems.

As part of this team, responsibilities would include undertaking assessments , working collaboratively with families and other supporting agencies to manage needs, as well as holding a caseload and undertaking duty.

You can expect regular clinical and management supervision with an emphasis on reflective practice. We hold a strong belief in team and individual development, you'll be providedwith a full induction program and access to extensive training and career development.

We are seeking a warm, compassionate and needs-led approach with our service users, their families and their network.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Nursing degree or equivalent, Dip OT, Clinical Psychology or equivalent
  • Mentorship qualification or ENB 998. Willingness to train to become a sign off mentor


Experience

Essential

  • Able to demonstrate an appropriate level of knowledge of mental health practice from previous experience
  • Demonstrate effective risk assessment and risk management experience
  • Experience in delivery of clinical interventions
  • Experience in working in team delivering person centred treatment packages


Desirable

  • Experience in delivering group based interventions
  • Experience in supporting service development

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is the main provider of specialist mental health services for the counties of Norfolk and Suffolk, serving a population of 1.6 million people. We are a large organisation covering a wide geographical area divided into ‘Care Groups'. There are also Care Groups supporting children, family and young people’s services, and specialist services, including Forensic mental health services.
