Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced respiratory Physiotherapist for a 6-month fixed term secondment post in our respiratory outpatients centre. It will involve assessing and treating patients with a range of complex respiratory conditions
The role will include both Physiotherapy led clinics as well as involvement in MDT clinics and input for relevant cases in inpatients/community settings. It will also include leading in physiotherapy for bronchiectasis and other suppurative lung diseases, as well as supporting students, and the whole MDT in physiotherapeutic treatment for these conditions.

As this post is part of the wider Therapy services department, you will have many opportunities to develop new skills and knowledge through our in-service training. You will be part of a large department of over 300 wte Therapy staff including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy support staff.
We provide a 7-day therapy service for our Trust and therefore you need to be able to work weekends and bank holiday, in a rota basis. For Physiotherapists this includes our acute respiratory out of hours service at night and weekends (On-call).
