We are recruiting an occupational therapist, RMN or social worker to join our New Leaf Vocational Rehabilitation Team. In this role you will be working closely with our service users and technical instructor team to deliver high quality assessment and rehabilitation for individuals with complex mental health needs. You will also provide clinical support and supervision for our technical instructor team.

Our service users work with us for 3-4 months to build confidence, work skills and social skills that will help them enter the workforce. Our aspiration is to support individuals to move on to paid employment or another vocational opportunity in the community in their chosen field.

About you
You will be an enthusiastic, dynamic and skilled communicator who is looking for an opportunity to work with a small team of instructors to deliver an excellent service and vocational rehabilitation.

You will assess, review and support users to attend New Leaf, and work closely with the instructors to match service user’s needs to rehabilitation opportunities. You will also liaise with other agencies, potential employers and services within Devon Partnership NHS Trust.

The location
Your base will be at New Leaf in Exminster, however under the current COVID-19 conditions this may be subject to alternative arrangements/change for example home working. Please be assured that any alternatives will be discussed fully with you and the organisation. Please ask the appointing manager if you have any questions.
