The opportunity has arisen for a nurse to join the Integrated Neurology Team in Worcestershire. We are looking for a nurse who has experience working with Parkinsons patients, who is motivated and passionate about developing their knowledge, skills and management of this caseload.

As a member of the Integrated Neurology Team you will benefit from support with your CPD and Career Progression as well as flexible working, enabling you to maintain work-life balance. Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be required to work independently in providing education and information, advice, and support to patients and their families/carers in their own home and within clinics, as well as remotely via phone calls or video conferencing. You will also be required to liaise and work closely with other health care professionals in ensuring that care needs are met accordingly, and that care is delivered to a high standard.
You will be working as part of the integrated neurology team providing specialist nursing intervention for patients with Parkinsons disease and associated conditions. The post holder will carry out comprehensive specialist holistic assessments and use their specialist knowledge and skills to help manage the Parkinsons caseload.
The successful candidate will be required to work independently in providing education and information, advice, and support to patients in their own home and within clinics, as well as remotely via phone calls or video conferencing.
You will also be required to liaise and work closely with other health care professionals in ensuring that patient care needs are met accordingly, and that care is delivered to a high standard.
The role with involve partnership working with the consultant neurologists and the integrated neurology team.

- RGN/RNLD
- Degree
- Clinical Masters qualification or a combination of qualifications and experience to an equivalent level in a relevant discipline
- Independent non-medical prescriber (V300) OR commitment to commence V300 within 1 year of starting in post
- Relevant further professional development particularly in relation to the patient group (neurology or learning disabilities)
- I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
