We are looking to recruit Band 5 Staff Nurse's on Orrell Ward. Orrell Ward cares for a wide range of surgical specialties including: Colorectal, ENT, urology and a number of other elective and emergency specialties.
The ward is fast paced and an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to develop their skills and experience within the surgical directorate.
Candidates will be required to present original certificates for qualifications at interview stage.
Please note NMC registration is a requirement of this role.
The role will require you to work across all areas in the Trust which includes those that are designated as positive, asymptomatic and negative COVID wards.
This vacancy is open to all internal and external candidates.
Main duties of the job
Under the supervision of the ward manager the nurse is responsible for the provision, organisation and direction of nursing care of the patients in his/her care. To communicate effectively with all members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and high quality care is provided to all patients.
