Applications are invited for a Clinical Research Facility (CRF) Data Manager based at the The National Institute for Health (NIHR) Imperial Care Research Facility(ICRF). The ICRF is a designated site for clinical research studies involving both patients and healthy volunteers situated at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, Hammersmith Hospital.
This post offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual, with data management experience in a clinical research setting, to ensure that all data collected for clinical trials is compliant with Good Clinical Practice and all applicable regulations. The main responsibilities will be to complete case report forms, resolve data queries, develop quality systems and procedures, and prepare for monitoring visits.
Applicants should be educated to degree standard in Nursing, Biological/Medical sciences, or have equivalent qualifications. The applicant will require excellent data management and communication skills. The applicant should be highly motivated and be able to undertake tasks on their own initiative. Previous NHS experience is required.
The opportunity is being offered as an initial 1 year fixed term appointment.

Main duties of the job
- The post holder will be responsible for the collection and management of clinical research data covering the current clinical trials conducted in the NIHR Imperial Clinical Research Facility (ICRF).
- The post holder will complete case report forms (CRFs), resolve data queries, prepare for monitoring visits, and help to ensure that all records are compliant with all applicable regulations relating to Clinical Trials and Research Governance.
- To facilitate this, the post holder will further develop and implement quality assurance systems and procedures to monitor and audit participant information relating to data management.
