We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our CAMHS Inpatient Teams (The Burrows and The Sett) working with children aged 13-18 years. We are looking for someone who has experience and who can work closely with the Multi-disciplinary teams.

Main duties of the job

Offering young people O/T assessments within the CAMHS inpatient services. Working collaboratively with the wider team.

Knowledge

Essential

  • Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current Registration with Health Professionals Council
  • A Levels or equivalent
  • Car driver
  • Knowledge of OT assessments
  • Caseload Management
  • Effective communication skills


Desirable

  • Evidence of Leadership Training
  • Evidence of supporting Students


Skills & Abilities

Essential

  • Demonstrates clear knowledge of OT process
  • Understanding of local and national policy affecting role

  • Provides evidence of involvement in Research
