Gainsborough Community Mental Health team (CMHT) are looking to recruit a qualified Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse to join our team. We are seeking only the best candidates that really want to make a difference and to deliver our Trust vision: To support people to live well in their communities. The successful candiate will work with the multidisciplinary team and help some of the most vulnerable members of society suffering from serious mental illness. You will deliver a wide range of interventions with a focus on maintaining person centred recovery skills. You will offer time limited support to our patients in meeting their identified recovery needs and goals.
The successful candidate will be working alongside the existing team and will support the team by creating, formulating individual interventions and care plans to support people with mental health needs to live their lives to the optimum. You will also assist with delivering our stabilisation groups and provide psychoeducation, providing information to patients and family members to better understand their illness. The ideal candidate will have good networking skills. You will need to be able to link in with other services such as the Integrated Based Placed Teams, Neighbourhood Teams, and voluntary services.
Gainsborough CMHT provides help for adults of working age (18-64) with a Severe and Enduring mental illness or a long-term mental disorder. The service will work with Service Users to reduce distress, maintain independence and integrity of care networks, shorten illness, prevent relapse, promote recovery and social inclusion, and minimise the impact of disabilities.
