NORTH WALES RADIOLOGY SERVICE Work where you want to live.

We are responsible for the Radiology Service Delivery in three acute hospitals and a network of community hospitals, and an opportunity has arisen in the Radiology Department at the Glan Clwyd Hospital, to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking, motivated dynamic, committed Radiographer to a Band 6 role within the Cardiac Catheter Suite and plain film/general department.

Main duties of the job

Successful post-holder will be required to work in the Cardiac Catheter Suite and general area, including A& E, theatres, fluoroscopy and to undertake limited CT scanning. Successful applicants will work a shift pattern which includes on-calls, evenings, nights and weekends.

Previous cardiac angiography experience would be advantageous but is not essential, training opportunities will be provided.

It is anticipated that there will be a flexible approach to the rostering of days and as such, fixed working days may not be viable.

The post will be based at Glan Clwyd Hospital, Denbighshire.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
