We have an exciting opportunity available for a permanent Urgent care Practitioner to join our Urgent Care Team. You will be part of a forward thinking and dynamic directorate who have recently been recognised for their achievements by the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care. We are currently in the process of commencing a tees alliance with James cook where we are part of a team opening a new UCC at James Cook working alongside Redcar.
Main duties of the job

Essential
- Registered First Level Nurse or paramedic
- Physical Assessment & Disease Management skills.
- Paediatric Clinical Skills
- Minor Injury Experience
- First Level Degree in Nursing
- Acute care experience
Desirable
- Masters in Advanced Nursing Practice or willingness to undertake
- Independent Nurse Prescriber
Experience
Essential
- Recent experience working in an autonomous practice role.
- Experience at band 6/7 in an acute setting.
- Paediatric emergency care experience.
- Leadership qualification

- Experience of working to protocols or guidelines.
