Are you a dietitian looking to develop your skills in an exciting dietetic department? Want to work in an outstandingly beautiful area with beaches and mountains on your doorstep? Then come and join our dynamic team based in Central North Wales!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic dietitian to join our friendly team of over 40 dietitians and 5 dietetic assistants who deliver services in acute and primary care, and public health. This full time, permanent Band 5 rotational dietetic role provides a fantastic opportunity for new graduates, or those wishing to sample the North Wales experience!

Based in Conwy and Denbighshire, we support the local district Glan Clwyd Hospital - a hospital which is embracing innovative and better ways of working, and epitomizes the core values of our Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.

The post holder will work in a rotational position, alongside 4 other band 5 dietitians, plus our wider teams, to provide acute, community, adult, paediatric, oncology, weight management, and Public Health services.

Quality improvement initiatives are welcomed in the department. You would be encouraged and supported in considering improved and more effective ways of working.

We deliver clinical placements for students, have secretarial and assistant support and are part of a wider team of 90 dietitians working across the three Areas of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will contribute to the provision of high quality nutrition and dietetic care to the people served within BCUHB by participating in the achievement of the Health Board's mission and quality objectives by providing high quality, safe, efficient and effective Dietetic therapy services within available resources and in accordance with their registration and Code of Practice of the BDA.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
