Ruby and Sapphire Acute Wards are looking to recruit 4 enthusiastic and motivated qualified Mental Health Nurses to join our multidisciplinary team as Deputy Ward Managers.
We seek to appoint committed and motivated health professionals who value recovery focused care, and are competent to lead on the planning and delivery of quality nursing care within a very busy and dynamic inpatient environment.
As a Deputy Ward Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that high standards of care are maintained through your skilled leadership and clinical expertise. The successful candidate will
We require innovative individuals with outstanding communication skills, who are confident in their decision making, and who are committed to providing managerial support to the ward manager and clinical leadership to the ward team. The role includes responsibility for systems which ensure the implementation, maintenance and monitoring of quality standards, the delivery of supervision and appraisal and the management of clinical rosters.
Ruby and Sapphire are 20 bedded Female and Male Acute wards providing care, treatment and support for individuals and their loved ones who live around the Buckinghamshire area. As we provide a service to our patients 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, we are looking for flexible individuals who will be available to cover rotational shifts, including weekends and nights.

- Provide senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team in support of the Ward Manager.
- Have a degree of clinical experience and leadership that provides expertise and confidence to the nursing team and ward overall.
- Have defined delegated responsibilities from the ward manager and the Modern Matron
