We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled E-Learning Lead and Trainer to join our Learning and Development team. You'll play a pivotal role in developing and delivering high-quality e-learning solutions that support the professional growth and development of healthcare professionals across the Trust.

Main duties of the job

As an E-Learning Lead and Trainer, you'll take a lead role in the design, development, and delivery of digital learning solutions, ensuring that they meet the evolving needs of the workforce. You'll also provide face-to-face and virtual training, supporting staff to gain the necessary skills and knowledge for their roles.
  • Lead on all aspects of the design, development, implementation and maintenance of IT Services e-learning.
  • Create assessments that provide feedback on progress to each learner and report results in line with department and accrediting organisation protocols.
  • Lead and manage e-Learning development for the EPR & other project milestones to ensure effective forecasting, planning and management of resources.
  • Work closely with the organisation and project teams to ensure that e-Learning design and content meets the needs of the service.
  • Management and configuration of the E-Learning platform including reporting and development of additional functionality.
  • To highlight opportunities where blended learning can enhance or support the delivery of existing educational programmes.
  • Transforming ideas and content into engaging and effective interactive e-learning materials.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to a Degree level or equivalent experience
  • Teaching qualification at Certificate in Education level (or equivalent experience)
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development


Experience

Essential

  • Comprehensive and demonstrable experience in Learning Design, knowledge of developing engaging e-learning modules using best practice design principles.
  • Putting together proposals and designing tailored solutions.
  • Learning Management Solution administration
  • Utilising e-learning authoring tools such as Lectora, Captivate, Articulate.
  • Knowledge of learning management systems, and online delivery systems for digital products
  • Experience of scripting, storyboarding
  • Knowledge of blended learning principles and use of technology/media to support e-learning
