We are recruiting for a Policies Officer who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
This is a great opportunity to use your skills to make a real difference as the Trust's Policies Officer, to deliver policies (document management) standards and compliance.
This role has the potential to have far-reaching benefits for patients and staff. Clear, easy to use, up-to-date policies are crucial to the Trust's ability to deliver excellent quality of care and be an efficient organisation.The first part of your role is ensuring all policies are updated on time. This will require a mixture of tenacity, organisational skills and good relationship building.
The second part of the role involves policy standards and development. Ensuring policies exist for all key requirements and then helping policy authors to produce optimal, legally-compliant policies.
Joining a friendly corporate governance team you will also be asked administer a committee meeting - minuting etc. No prior meeting administration experience is expected. Training, support and mentoring will be provided. The role offers the flexibility to work from home part of the time.

The postholder will support the Head of Risk and Policies in delivering the Trust's policies function. Policies means organisational policies and procedures document management rather than strategic policy analysis.
Together with the Head of Risk and Policies, you will ensure that the appropriate arrangements are in place for the efficient and effective management of policies.
