Clinical Specialist OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Band 6, Hospital Division
Full time - permanent
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our Hospital Division Occupational and Arts therapy team, based at Highgate Mental Health Centre and St Pancras Hospital.
Working on an inpatient rehabilitation ward, the post holder will have proven clinical skills to manage a complex caseload, Along with the MDT they will work to recovery principles with a community focus to support robust discharge plans. The post holder will have excellent planning and organisational skills including the ability to prioritise effectively.
The post holder will be responsible for supervision of junior staff and will work other staff to provide a comprehensive therapy programme for service users. They are expected to ensure that their practice meets the requirements of this clinical service and is in keeping with current evidence based practices.
