An exciting opportunity has arisen for an aspiring Band 6 to join our experienced, highly skilled Vascular Clinical Nurse Practitioner team, on a full time, permanent basis.

The successful candidate will display excellent leadership and communication skills and be able to confidently liaise with all partners to ensure the safe, timely care of our patients.

Our vascular nurse practitioner team cover a variety of demands including outpatient clinics, emergency reviews, nurse led wound review clinics and NAAASP nurse assessment clinics to name just a few.

- Must have NMC Registration
- Educated to Degree level in Nursing or Healthcare or working/committed to completing degree
- Committed to completing/working towards completing Non-Medical Prescribers course
- Committed to undertaking additional learning in vascular surgery
Desirable
- MSC in Nursing or similar health specialism or working/committed to completing
- Qualified Non-Medical Prescriber
- Qualified Assessor and Supervisor for student nurses
Experience

- At least 2 years' experience in vascular surgery

- 5 years vascular experience

- Basic computer skills
- Experience of communication within a Multi-Disciplinary Team
