We are recruiting for a Nurse Team Leader - Outpatients who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The department is a busy and diverse area with specialties including General Surgery, General Medicine, Neurology and Urology. If you areseeking a new challenge in your nursing career this could be the opportunity for you at this time.
In addition, you will receive a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of �1,136 and a maximum payment of �1,915 per annum pro rata.

Main duties of the job
The Nurse Team Leader performs an essential role in maintaining a safe efficient service in the department / unit.
You will supports the senior sister in the provision of a planned and holistic programme of care for the patients attending Outpatients Department (OPD).
You will provide leadership in developing, implementing and evaluating standards of care in line with evidence based practice. With the senior sister, you will provide advice, support and leadership to all staff working in the area and work in close collaboration with other professionals providing advice and expertise to patients and the multi-disciplinary team
Participate in the recruitment process for the clinical area.

- First level nurse on Part 1 of the NMC register, educated to diploma level
- Relevant clinical post-registration education including mentorship qualification.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to life long learning.
