Come and Join our Complex Care Team as par of our Community Nursing Team. We are looking for an experienced nurse to join our Children's Complex Care Team.
The post holder will provide specialist nursing skills knowledge and expertise in the care and management of children and young people who have a confirmed continuing health care need.
You will be part of the wider Community Children's Nursing team with a high level of nursing expertise and be a role model to the nurses and students within the team. Support telephone on call for staff outside of office hours.
The service operates 7 days a week, 24 hours per day.

Main duties of the job
To work in partnership with child, family and carers holistically in response to their specific needs, maximising their independence and quality of life.
You will be responsible for training and education in packages of care for children who have Continuing Health Care needs
To support continuity of care within an integrated care organisation following the patient across the acute and community pathways.
To lead on the teaching and development of healthcare professionals, children, young people and carers.
To provide clinical supervision and mentorship for junior staff, health care assistants as required
You will take part in the oncall provision within the service

- RN Child/RSCN qualification
- Degree in speciality (where available) or willing to work towards
- ENB 998 (Teaching and Assessing in Clinical /D33/D32Practice), or equivalent course
- Leadership Course

- Demonstrable post registration experience
- Relevant recent experience in acute paediatric/ community setting.
- Relevant experience at Band 5 or above
