An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Paediatric Audiologist to join our dynamic and forward thinking Paediatric Audiology Team .
Our merged Royal Derby Hospital and Queens Hospital Burton departments provide a range of routine and specialist services, including newborn hearing diagnostics, hearing rehabilitation, tinnitus assessment and management, and ENT diagnostics. The service is working towards IQIPS accreditation.
Main duties of the job
The main purpose of this role is to provide a range of clinical care working in one or more specialist areas of Paediatric Audiology. The post holder will regularly work across sites and alone at outstations. The post holder will be responsible for maintaining clinical records in relation to the activities carried out. The post holder will also supervise or train less experienced staff and be a point of contact for junior staff regarding routine cases, and provide advice regarding the specialist area(s) they work in. The post holder may also lead a team working in a specialist area.

Essential
- 1:1 or 2:1 BSc (Hons) Audiology or equivalent
- Post qualification experience
- Registration with HCPC, or AHCS
- Paediatric audiology experience
Desirable
- Membership of BAA and/or BSA
- Recognised qualification in British Sign Language
- Previous use of Auditbase and Smart4Hearing
